BIM Advantage was born from a legacy of tireless work ethic and a deep-rooted respect for the building trades. The foundation of the company was laid decades ago when our founder, Kevin’s parents emigrated from the Azores Islands to the United States. In an incredible feat of determination, Kevin’s mother mastered the material to pass the general contractor exam despite a language barrier to launch a family construction business alongside her husband.

Growing up in a household defined by military discipline and the constant presence of blueprints and sawdust, the founder was raised on jobsites. While Kevin’s father envisioned a traditional path in the family business, the founder discovered a different calling: the "art" of the blueprints themselves. This passion for technical detail led to a formal education in architecture, where a transformative introduction to Revit sparked a lifelong mission to revolutionize the industry through Virtual Design and Construction.
